Autumn Days;

As the Summer sun sets on Melbourne, Autumn is starting to make its presence felt; The mornings are fresh and the days seem a bit shorter; especially with the end of daylight savings time. This time of year I especially look forward to freshly Roasted Chestnuts, juicy ripe figs, Olives and wild mushrooms. Its also time to plant the winter food garden and over the next few months I look forward to preparing some warming Autumn recipes like pasta e fagioli (short pasta and bean soup) and pasta e Ceci (short pasta and chick pea soup) served with crusty bread and a glass of my favourite Red;
